Projects and Initiatives
Projects and initiatives within the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) serve as the principal delivery mechanism for translating regional policy into practical, measurable outcomes. They operationalise decisions of the Conference of Heads of Government and the Community Council by converting strategic priorities; such as economic integration, human development, climate resilience, and citizen security, into targeted interventions at regional and national levels.

Crime and Violence as a Public Health Issue
The Government of Trinidad and Tobago, in collaboration with the CARICOM Secretariat, convened a Regional Symposium on Crime and Violence as a Public Health Issue on 17–18 April 2023 to address the issue of crime and violence within the Caribbean Region.
CARICOM 25 by 2025 Initiative
Vision 25% by 2025 is long term social and economic partnership between: Member States, the Regional Private Sector (CARICOM Private Sector Organization-CPSO), Regional Organizations, Producer Groups, Development Partners and Civil Society which outlines actions and critical areas of intervention to tackle the Region’s rising food import bill, improve intra-regional trade, and create wealth and economic opportunity for every CARICOM Member State.
