Institutions of the
Caribbean Community
The achievement of the Community’s objectives under Article 6 of the Revised Treaty depends on coordinated action across the CARICOM Secretariat, Community Institutions, and Associate Institutions. These bodies maintain strong functional relationships with the Community and provide direct technical support to Member States across multiple sectors.
As key implementing partners of the Community Strategic Plan, Community Institutions operate as independent legal entities with their own governance structures. To strengthen coordination and ensure complementarity in service delivery, the Secretary-General convenes annual meetings with the Heads of Community and Associate Institutions.
