Projects and initiatives within the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) serve as the principal delivery mechanism for translating regional policy into practical, measurable outcomes. They operationalise decisions of the Conference of Heads of Government and the Community Council by converting strategic priorities; such as economic integration, human development, climate resilience, and citizen security, into targeted interventions at regional and national levels.

CARICOM-PAHO Climate Change and Health Project
The CARICOM-PAHO Climate Change and Health Project is a major multi-partner regional initiative designed to strengthen the resilience of health systems across CARICOM countries against the accelerating threats of climate change. Coordinated primarily by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), the initiative operates through two major internationally funded frameworks: the EU-CARIFORUM Climate Change and Health Project (€7 million) and the Green Climate Fund (GCF) Readiness Project.
