A report of the work of the Community for the period January to December 2019, in accordance with Article 23 paragraph 3 of the Revised Treaty establishing the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) including the CARICOM Single Market and Economy

  1. Crime as Public Health: Heads of Government agreed to treat violent crime as a public health issue.
  2. Private Sector Engagement: The foundation was laid for the formation of the Caribbean Private Sector Organization (CPSO).
  3. Climate Change Outcomes: The outcomes of COP 25 were described as disappointing, only "noting with concern" the state of the global climate system.
  4. Human Trafficking: A major study was undertaken to determine the levels and incidence of human trafficking in the CARIFORUM region
