Advancing the Implementation of the Roadmap for the CARICOM Single ICT Space

Under this project, the follow outputs were produced:

ICT sector gap analysis for CARICOM Member and Associate States, focusing on key dimensions essential for successfully implementing the CARICOM Single ICT Space and improving countries’ digital economy;

The ICT Digital Agenda Framework for the CARICOM Single ICT Space which is designed to accelerate the region's digital transformation by fostering economic integration, regulatory harmonisation, and investment in ICT-driven development.  The framework is the roadmap to ensuring that the vision of a globally competitive, data-driven digital CARICOM economy by 2035; and

The Cooperation Framework serves as the principal mechanism for coordinating regional collaboration and resource mobilisation in the implementation of the proposed Digital Agenda with the ultimate goal of consolidating the CARICOM Single ICT Space and advancing the digital development of CARICOM countries and the region as a whole.

The outputs of the project, which was undertaken from February 2023 to May 2025, will be of interest to senior policymakers (including Government Ministers responsible for the ICT sector) and managers in the public sector, private sector firms with an interest in ICT and development partners.
